Details about the Services
The Jacksonville Assembly has four weekly services: one
on Sunday afternoon, one on Sunday evening, one on Wednesday
evening, and one on Saturday evening.
Our Sunday afternoon service starts at 2:00 p.m. Typically we begin the service with a call to worship with the help of our dedicated music staff which includes our band with some thirty-five members. We thank God for their commitment both through instrumentals and vocals to help us focus on the Lord. This will be a time of praise and prayer.  If you feel a need to have a minister of God pray for you, this is a good time to go up front for prayer.

After the initial song service is concluded, our 3 to 5 year-olds go to Children’s church. (Nursery for newborns through 3 year olds is open the entire service.) The rest of the congregation remains in the Sanctuary to wait on the Lord to move on individuals to express the hope and joy that He brings whether through testimony or song.  This is also the time when our ministry will minister messages to the congregation that are relevant to serving God and becoming more Christ-like.  You can be assured that you will never leave service empty-handed.  After about two hours we dismiss the church but provide a special time of fellowship and food in the dining room for those who desire to stay. We see in scripture that after Jesus preached, he fed the multitudes as well!

Our Sunday Evening service begins at 6:30 p.m. The beginning of service is typically reserved for announcements. We like to call it family night.  After the announcements are over, we usually begin and end the service as we do on other nights- by following the direction the Lord leads.
Our much needed mid-week service begins at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings. We strive to have it conducted by the spirit of the Lord just like our other services.
